Obligatory Introduction

My name is Michael Histen, I am 28-year-old resident of Boston, MA, and I am curious about politics, public policy, and the philosophies behind it all. I'm hoping to use this blog to just talk out some of the things I'm reading and learning about. If people start reading and commenting, hopefully they will challenge some of my thoughts and maybe I'll come out better because of it. I like a good debate!
